The Agency’s NYC headquarters located at 88 University recently hosted CEO and Founder Mauricio Umansky and President Rainy Austin , who were both in town to celebrate our Brooklyn Park Slope office’s grand opening and mark the announcement of Mauricio’s latest venture, the MU Network , created in partnership with Fireside .
The visit kicked off with a toast to the new Brooklyn Park Slope office , which officially debuted on September 4th , as featured on The Real Deal . Managing Partners Michael Smith and Donald Mastroianni were in attendance alongside agents from Long Island and Connecticut, who came to celebrate the new space and show their support. The office marks our eighth location in the Empire State.
Another central highlight of Mauricio and Rainy’s visit was the New York sales meeting, where they met with agents and spoke about the latest market shifts, how to leverage our cutting-edge brand, global network and more. See highlights of Mauricio’s talking points on Fox Business . Rainy and Mauricio also touched on the local team’s many recent achievements, including the listing of The Symphony Townhouse by Mike Biryla , John Antretter and Gabriella Michin , which was just featured in Mansion Global . This addition to our portfolio exemplifies the high standards and innovative spirit that define The Agency.
“I loved Mauricio and Rainy’s visit. They brought such great energy to the office and reminded me why I love doing my job,” said New York agent, Ben Brown . “It’s exciting to go out every day and meet new people and be a creative businessman—and Mauricio reminded me of that. He told me: ‘If you’re not doing a deal a month then you’re not a real estate agent,’ and that was some great guidance and inspiration. I’ll be working even harder in the autumn months to meet my goals!”
After the sales meeting, the day transitioned into a lively happy hour sponsored by Miraval and EastWest Abstract title services. Guests sipped on Studio by Miraval, a Mediterranean rosé, created in homage to the newly reopened and famed recording studio at Chateau Miraval in Provence.
This event hosted agents and guests from Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island, New Jersey, and Connecticut as well as Burke Smith , Executive Vice President of Affiliated Businesses The Agency’s Core Services team.
The successful leadership visit celebrated our recent milestones and strengthened our vision for the future. With our exceptional local team and the backing of The Agency’s global network, The Agency New York is primed to close the year with strength and success.
